Disneyland Paris Resort

Walt Disney World - Nos Expériences. Walt Disney World - Les Offres.

Disneyland ParisDisneyland Paris (also known as EuroDisney), has two great theme parks (Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios). Disneyland Paris is the fourth Disney park created (after California, Florida and Tokyo) and still the only one in Europe. Accommodation can be found in the Disney Village with several Hotels located in Marne-la Vallée, a town twenty miles east of Paris

Opened in 1992, it quickly became a must for tourists visiting Paris and now hosts more than 12 million visitors annually. Despite a strong similarity to the US parks in it's early days, Disneyland Paris has developed in an attempt to satisfy the tastes and expectations of a European public.

Disneyland Park

This park is the pure Disney fun, with rides, shows, parades, a hotel (the Disneyland hotel, which is the most expensive and most comfortable) and plenty of restaurants. No doubt, this park will delight kids of all ages.

The park is organised into various themes, each with a location, layout and unique style where, as you would expect from Disney, every attention is paid to detail, allowing visitors a total immersion in the Disney universe. The five main themes are:

  • Main Street: It's the main boulevard and entrance to the park, this great and wide street, inspired by the hometown of Walt Disney, was designed to resemble an American city in the middle of the twentieth century, and it clearly works very well! You can take a ride in a horse drawn carriage to admire the Victorian architecture, visit some of the many shops, or head directly for the rides on the steam train that circles the park and stops in all 5 areas.
  • Fantasyland: The land of fairy tales and Disney movies, where you and drift back into your childhood amongst the likes of Peter Pan, Dumbo and Pinocchio. This is a magical world where fairy tales burst into life.
  • Frontierland: This area is inspired by the Wild West and its conquests, with colonial-style buildings and Indian camps. Embark on a steamboat ride with the adventures of Tom Sawyer or get the fright of your life in the haunted house
  • Adventureland: The world of adventure and action. Fight side by side with Jack Sparrow, travel with Indiana Jones and fight hand to hook against Captain Hook.
  • Discoveryland: This is an area dedicated to the future and discoveries, while paying tribute to the pioneers, scientists and dreamers. Here you'll find yourself amongst the worlds great visionaries such as Jules Verne and George Lucas. The most famous attractions are inspired by these artists, Space Mountain was directly inspired by the work of Lucas. Also ride with Buzz Lightyear, star of the Toy Story saga, and help him beat the evil Zorg!
